Was definitely a fun time. The High Line was really neat. Fortunately it got a little cooler after around 8pm and a breeze picked up, especially once we were above ground level.

I was totally off in how old I thought Raddy was, but halfy was pretty spot on.

Not really sure what to expect from the conference tomorrow (other than knowing that the theme is "the Inklings and science") but hopefully there will be some interesting presentations. I dunno if all of them will be directly related to the theme.

It's kinda weird seeing what people look like in real life, I'd seen pictures of Eldo before,Raddy was about old as I expected, but I was way off on Halfy...

Eldo had announced he was going to the Tolkien society meeting and asked if any of us wanted to meet up.

I'm hoping DJH might show at the meeting this morning; didn't really expect his parents would cotton to the idea of linking up at a bar with several older men he'd met online....
