I don't know about this buckie that everyone's always on about, but I tried some eggnog and rum, and I liked it alright.

Re: Most users ever online
Eggnog and rum is similar to buckie- in that its alcohol with something else mixed in - in your case presumably eggs, which sounds weird to me, and in buckies case its mainly caffeine- drop for drop more than in Red Bull.
According to the makers "Three small glasses a day, for good health and lively blood".
However we Scots assumed this was obviously a typo and they meant 3 barrels a day which is only sensible.

Eggnog is already too rich on its own. Blech. And I don't like rum.

Yeah, it's got raw eggs in it. Mixed about half and half with whiskey or rum it makes a great holiday meal.
And it family friendly. It was my first experience with hard liquor at about age 5 or 6.

The key to eggnog is you've gotta froth the heck out of it, and not make it too thick. Otherwise it's gag-inducing.

Re: Most users ever online
I know a few people who claim to like eggnog, but most of my family just sticks to beer interspersed with shots of tequila throughout the holidays (and the rest of the year too, tbh).
Re: Most users ever online
Well I used to love having a few drinks around the holidays but finding out I'm diabetic and how it effects my blood sugar, isn't a good thing. Last time I had a couple I checked my glucose level in the morning and it was over 350. NOT A GOOD THING. So I just haven't drank really since then. Which sucks cause I love to have a drink or 30 on occassion.
