So its his clothes is the complaint? What about elephant face Orc in PJ's- or the Witchking scream mask helmet?

Yeah- terrible design, looked silly and ridiculous, impractical and in the case of the orc no reason for it except PJ's love of gross excess.

He loked to old to me- the book says he looks ageless (dunno how they will pull that off in TH, loads of filters in Rivendell I bet!)- I could guess his age roughly. Why does he have hair like a girl? And why is he wearing an Indian style outfit?

I am with you there, Mrs Figg. And I don't see how a helmet is im-practical. He isn't supposed to be a ninja, he just sits upon his nazgul and .. scare people. And orc can't help having a bit of extra tissue, what if you were told you big nose was silly?

I think it looks like leaves, and that's rather cool. and the hair? if you are wise and wonderful, why cut it short?

Im just pointing out that PJ is just as capable of bizarre design choices. Frankly its just as well Lee and Howe were on board or Eru knows what Pj on his own would have had the thing looking like.

sometimes bizzare is good. And I don't think that there are many bizzare design choices in LOTR.

exactly Norc. If the witchking wanted practical he would wear a cycling helmet. Rolling Eyes
and Elronds clothes were based on Japanese robes not Indian, they gave him a samurai kind of feel like he was wise yet a warrior at the same time, ditto the hair, Japanese.
and he is hot. Embarassed
