need some advice from someone who knows how to use the correct grammar and has writing skillz. my supervisor gave me some feedback, what does she mean?

'make sure you write grammatically complete sentences, and don't string together complete clauses with just commas!''

what the buggery is a complete clause?

A clause is a sentence that usually contains a single verb- he ran for the bus- thats a clause with ran being the verb.

He ran for the bus, got on the bus and took a seat- thats three clauses run together by commas and a conjunction (and in this case).

You could write- He ran for the bus. He got on the bus. He took a seat.

If what you are writing is technical - say art history or something, then seperating out the clauses into seperate sentences makes it clearer.

If I can find the stuff, I'll try it. That's the problem with wine: too damn many varieties out there. Hard to find the stuff you want. Beer - even micro brew - is more manageable, but not for much longer I fear.

so talk about living in the countryside problemz. I was driving down the road and I clocked a hunting dog running gaily down the middle of the road with a huge Cock in its mouth.
