22 is height of summer here Chris- but at least you have ungodly unpleasant weather all the time- we just get heat for a few days, maybe a week or so at most- so you get just long enough to go from slowly reddening, panting and dehydrated to acclimatising to it- then it goes back to normal and it feels bloody freezing. 
If it has to be as hot as air from Satans bum hole then it could at least be consistently hot.
