Of course it's fun. I've trolled forums too in my younger and wilder days.  But being banned is part of the deal.  The real trick is if you're trolling a forum that you're a part of but you don't want it to come back on your real account.

It's possible ... even if his IP address doesn't change on its own, it's easy enough to visit the site from a different computer.  I suspect he will make his identity evident soon enough if he does, though,

In case it's not clear yet, Gundulf and Smaug were the same dude, and the mods have decided together that he is no longer welcome here.  All relevant accounts as well as the IP address the guy posted from have been banned, and if he returns anyway he will be banned again unless he makes a good faith effort to treat the forum as something other than his personal playground.

I totally did NOT see that!    Smaug seemed so normal, except for the weirdness of telling us all about his family right off the bat.  Gundulf was a creep right from the start.
