Ahh- true thats a very UK reference. Ok to put an end to that "elf aging thing" I found something. In the story of Arwen and Aragorn in the Appendix, they first meet when Aragorn is around 20. Aragorn states that she looks no older than him even though she is thousands of years old already. Later they again meet in Lothlorien around 30 years later and it is stated that she hasn't physically, changed. If that isn't enough proof for ya, then I don't know what is

Well 30 years is nothing to an elf- you wouldn't expect her to look any older- but what if the story had come back to her 500 years later? Or a thousand? Would she still look 20 or a youthful 30?
If Arwen ws standing beside Galdriel for example would they booth look 20? Maybe, maybe not.

I know it's nothing but she hadnt aged At all. And she was already thousands of years old by then.

Plus that is the subjective view of Aragorn who hasnt seen her in 30 years. If I saw some girl now I had not seen in 30 years Iwould not be able to recall her features so well I could say with any certainy exactly how different she looked.

The first time he saw her, it was through his view. The Lothlorien part was spoken through the Narrator.
