Well having read a bit more (in the name of research of course) all I can say is, Sir Conan Doyle would never have written that.
I mean its ridiculous, only one ejaculation from Watson? Its like they've never even read the original works. Under the circumstances described there I'd have expected at least 3 or 4 ejaculations out of Watson in a row, at least.
