I liked how her nuttyness seemed silly on the surface but, was very deep & it made sense on the next layer, not stupid was CC, Its a shame she's not around.

Yup, CC is badly missed. I always felt of all of us Ally embodied Forumshire more than any other. I get sad just thinking about her not being here 
as she was one of our longest serving members and in many ways defined and helped form Forumshires identity.
I do wish our favourite welsh rugby playing poet of the mind would come back to us, or even just stop by to say hello so we know she is well.

I think Ally and her disappearance is a good example of one of the very few things I don't like about forums, and certainly the thing I like the least - when people just disappear for a while (or entirely), you never know why, and some part of you is always thinking something might have happened to them. I hope Ally is just busy with her own stuff, and who knows, maybe one day she'll be back after all

One of the most amazing things that happened on this forum was when Meiko Electra went homeless, but kept posting on Forumshire!
There's no good way to keep in contact with someone who's homeless anyway, but you feel particularly helpless on a forum: you can't even send out a search party!

Well said. I miss Ally too and am somewhat worried about her, but hopefully she is well and just preoccupied with other things.
She truly defined the whole "free spirits" ethos though, definitely.
