Artisitc Merits

{{At work we've got a whiteboard, they got it to put messages and events and stuff on for the residents to read, way too boring, so I have a tendency to hijack it for Countdown and Hangman games with them instead (with prizes, usually chocolate and stuff they are not supposed to have   . }}
And when things are busy and not got the time I'd like to spend in such pursuits with them I get them to pick something out the window or from a book for me to quickly sketch on the whiteboard for them.
They get wiped of course as soon as we use the board for something else, so I thought I'd grab a snap of today's 10minute doodle (bugger drawing in just a black marker pen too )

So heres the quick sketch. Its part of the view from the window of the bay and castle hill}}

Your drawing ability. Making scenes on a computer is a whole different animal.

I've always been impressed by your rendering, photoshops, etc but I too had no idea that you drew by hand as well. That you consider the above sketch "rough" is very impressive to me, given how I am with drawing.

I say go for it Petty, you have the perfect landscape for drawing, just do one at a time and before long you will have a lot. get good quality paper though, cheap paper looks bad on walls, its too shiny under glass.

it reminds me of the mountain in the film Close Encounters.

If that's Devil's tower it's a side you normally don't see.
