But Petty's right, any browser problem, cookies and cache are the first things to dump, they are what gives your browser a sense of memory that will get you into doing things over and over, and if you erase the memory it won't know how to do the same thing again.

Apple safari has a 'reset browser' menu item that wipes everything clean. Don't know about other browsers.

I think I'm winning. Got my computer open and restored to 24/12/12. I ran a scan (that's computer talk Petty). But it brought up nothing. I don't believe Trend Micro anti-virus though as it has already let me down once. The Googleman said to download anti-malware Free but I don't know. Will it upset my trend program if I do? Will the one you suggested earlier Petty upset my current anti- virus? I'm afraid... Very afraid...

The link I suggested earlier will just run online scan of your system to see if there is any problems.

The program your googlefriend suggests does seem decent enough going a quick check of some reviews of it- as far as you can trust such things of course.

First off, did you try it after the restore? If it runs fine, you've likely eliminated the problem unless it was a very cruel sleeper virus.

and did you try deleting all cookies and browser cache first? If that worked you wouldn't have to lose any of your valuables composed in the last year.

I managed to find a Googlefriend who knew about the AFP Scam. I got to Restore. Then I removed my Recent Items on my Windows list-thingee (which I assume means Recent History as well). That's all I've done. I'm really dubious about loading other anti-viral programs. I might wait and see. Hopefully, the malware's gone.

I restored things to 24/12/2013. I actually feel rather clever now, but I'd prefer if in future you guys used sensible words I can understand when talking your Computer talk --- like millwheel or forge bellows or bustle. Would make my road easier I can tell you!    {{{Or would it?   }}}

Yeah, I've noticed it too quite a few times, both with myself and others. My guess it that the list simply doesn't update instantly.

Nope, just mozilla firefox nothing else. And I never ever go incognito, sounds foreign and possibly suspicious- I'm not Swedish you know!
