They've actually just issued a warrant for your arrest this morning. I'm afraid you're now wanted for crimes against democracy and attempted corruption of the state. Fortunately, they seem to have let me off the hook on the grounds that I "prevented Muirdock from meddling in the election directly by pretending to be a middleman". So really, everyone wins, except you, if you don't get back to Ozhobbitstan in time.

As for your most kind warning about my Tower of Lore, I thank you. I shall install additional guards there immediately to make sure that no dangerous criminals (say, people with a fresh Secret Police warrant on their heads) or their associates are able to come near while the damage is assessed and repaired. As my first act as mayor I would like to propose a review of the nature of he forumshire press. It appears to me that numerous papers are being used simply as fronts to cast scandalous lies in personal vendettas or in some cases as misinformation to shore up rocky regimes. I would like a full disclosure as to who the owners and operators of said papers are alongside full disclosure of their other interests within forumshire itself.


In addition I think the means by which these journalists research their stories should also be open for scrutiny.

What is ths unwarranted attack on Hobbit Lass of the Day?- it is just a chance for the fairer and bouncier sex to share their insightful thoughts on current events- its pro-females! It absolutely loves women (falling within the age range 18-23 and who have a 34b or above chest size). And its traditional- you can't go messing with tradition.

NOTP just wouldn't be NOTP without Hobbit Lass of the Day. (And in event of a Council vote tie I have the tie-breaker, according to Petty in the Awards thread. )

I am not sure that a casting vote in the forumshire awards should be used as a guide when considering more serious matters such as this!

The Forumshire Awards are very serious, though! I think it establishes a legitimate precedent.

Sorry Petty, but the votes are clear: Kafria won by a sizable margin. However, she won before making her anti-Hobbit Lass of the Day leanings known. I think the Forumshire Council will have to meet to discuss this. Unfortunately, the active members of the Council appear to be split two-and-two (Kafria and Tin vs. you and I) on this matter. Who would have thought we'd face a Constitutional Crisis so soon?
