Well, regardless of whether or not the Hill he passed was in fact the residence of Bilbo Baggins or just a metaphor for his transition to geezerdom, are beloved Pettytyrant is now 40 years old! cheers

And don't worry Baingil upon turning 40 Scots are traditionally presented with an extra sturdy crabbit meter to deal with any increase brought about by age.
Of course I am now considered Buckie-Wise as the average Scot is dead from liver failure and heart disease by 40- not sure why, poor souls probably not getting enough buckie, chips and deep fried battered pizza down them I imagine.
Now I'm off to celebrate, where did I put my buckie and that battered fried mars bar? drunken
