I'm pretty sure I overuse commas too, though probably not as much as I used to.Norc wrote:or just click comma?
Really I should just work on breaking up my thoughts into smaller sentences in general. I'm already trying to do that a little bit.

Yup, that was my særemne, Norc I liked the Inglis version a lot myself, though I never got used to the way his voice cracks sometimes.

Re: Need some help!
i have særemne this year and i am starting to freak out already, i have no idea what to write about..
Re: Need some help!
Quibbling over the choice of words (in this case, married/wife) rather than what those words actually signify.Norc wrote:semantics? (yes i am too lazy too google that)

Re: Need some help!
It's nothing to worry about, you'll come up with something in due time And if you're anything like me, you'll write 90% of the paper during the 7-8 last hours before deadline I think I was still writing when there were only ten minutes left before my bus was leaving, and still did wellNorc wrote:i have særemne this year and i am starting to freak out already, i have no idea what to write about..

Re: Need some help!
yeah.. but my teacher has high hopes and stuff, i am (unfortunately) best in my class when it comes to norwegian and yeah.... she expects greatness :S (i think i might do Erlend Loe's Doppler and then the follow up book)

I think I was still writing when there were only ten minutes left before my bus was leaving, and still did well- Ringdrotten
That almost exactly my experience at exams, well if you change it to 'only started ten minutes before' and 'still did well to', 'got buckied and not really sure if I was there or not', then it is.

Read Ringdrotten (the book, that is ) and find something to write about; you can write about the use of dialects and different styles of nynorsk, or about translations as I did, or something completely different. You'll have lots of fun reading the best translation I've ever read of any book, and you won't get bored to death writing about something you don't find interesting And as it is in nynorsk, I'm pretty sure your teacher will give you a 6 just for that - all norwegian language/literature teachers love it

Re: Need some help!

Re: Need some help!
I think you should give it a go anyway, it'll be well worth it (reading the book, of course.. )
