Good to meet you Bilbo! Wave

Right now we are in the long quiet before the storm: when the Amazon Appendices hit the small screen (they haven't named the series, so I just did!)  But we have plenty to discuss even if nothing new Tolkien related is ongoing.  Poke around a bit, and don't be afraid to revive an old thread or start a new one!

Thanks very much. I also assumed a storm is coming. I have noticed more interest on other tolkien forums already.

We are a bit unique in that we have a community feeling, in large part because we have sections to discuss other things during the lapses in Tolkienia. The upcoming Dune film for example (I have my ticket!).

Yo, welcome, where in New England?
I've never been. Well, briefly through New Jersey and Virginia, but I don't know what that counts as.

I live over on the best coast in Commiefornia.

No those states do not count. I am from Vermont, and it is very nice to meet you.

New York State is sort of boundary of New England, but is a region unto itself.

The change in colors can be dramatic. With just the right kind of tint to sunglasses they really pop - never understood that since the tint is grey.
