( was going to say the Norwegian translation for "kids" thinking it might be close to "kinder" or something equally cute. but somehow "Bring the barn" doesn't seem to work.)

How about unge? I hardly ever use barn in my dialect.

I think it might be a bit late for them. Seems we'll be done at 23.30-ish and that's a bit late, especially on a school night.

We just finished seeing movie no 1 though. Daughter complained about the same as Finrod and me. Hard to hear what was said, while the sound effects are loud and clear. Son wasn't too fond of the orcs, and asked if there would be blood after the riddle part. So I'm not sure the battle of five armies is the best way to end a day. And there might be traces of Thauriel and CGI-Legolas and I don't want to expose my kids for that.

Amarie says 8 pm Scots time is 9 pm Norscandiwegish time, so not good going until 11:30 pm on a weeknight. I'm not voting for the weekend, but not friday. This middle of the afternoon thing is not good on a weekday.

My time is entirly flexible right now, I can watch at 5 or 6pm which would only be 6 or 7 in Fjordian time. But that'd be early for you I think. So its really between you and Amarie to decide a day and time that suits you both. Im in lockdown anyway. }}

I should be completely open saturday/sunday. But am supposed to be at least projecting the image of being at work during the week so can't wipe out half a day. Whatever time Amarie wants on the wekend should work for me.

Weekend is more practical for wine and whiskey consuming...

I continue to work through the weekend, otherwise I'd be with you on this one.  The idea of the brunch cocktail wasn't invented for nothing: it's to kickstart your weekend after Friday night hangover.   I didn't believe in hair of the dog until I tried it.  Works great. 'cept when you are trying to work after.

I just realized I promised my saturday afternoon away. Possibly friday may work at Amarie's suggested time.

I think this different timezone thing only works with the shorter flims - 2.5 hours is too difficult to manage. I'm thinking of calling it off and watching on our own time.
