Countdown to Bungo's 1000th Post!

Congratulations, bungo! 5000 posts is an achievement anywhere; being on the verge of the Top 10 posters is quite cool too (much love to Dave as well of course though ). I'm so glad to have had you with us for the past two years and I hope you'll continue to be an important part of Forumshire for years to come.

And to think, I've only read three of them! {{{ }}}

Thanks for all your contributions over the past two years; for quality as well as quantity.  And the same to Dave.  It's been an honor to have both of you gentlemen in the Top 10 and just posting here at all in between everything else going on in your lives.

I suppose perhaps not as bungo seems to be extending his lead nicely.

He's a shrewd one, is our mayor.
He waited until I was distracted by Harvest to launch his assault, a time when he knew I couldn't defend my position.

So I guess I need to to concede tenth place for now {{{{at least until Bungo has his back turned.... }}}}

He also used the Mrs Figg tactic of refusing to stand as a candidate during the Mayoral election. Clearly bungo is quite the savvy operator.

I didn't even mention the mayoral elections outright.. and I somehow came second.
