Pettytyrant101 wrote:God- depicted as an older man with a big white beard.

Santa- Older man with big white beard.

God- Watches you all the time and judges your behaviour.

Santa- Watches you all the time and judges if you've been good or bad.

God- Can perform impossible acts like creting the universe in six days or turning a couple of quids worth of food into enough to feed a multitude (youd think he give Africa someone like that).

Santa- Flies around the world in one night on a flying sleigh pulled by flying reindeer.

Gods catchphrase- 'worship me or suffer eternal damnation'

Santa- Ho, ho, ho.

So on balance if I had to worship a fictitious character I'd prefer Santa, he's cheerier and seems a nicer sort of person (and he brings presents too)  Nod

I thought you were making a case for God/Santa being the same person there for a moment.  Laughing

And I didn't think anyone could make reindeer sound more adorable. Good job Azriel.  Very Happy

(I know someone is getting a bit tired of these updates, but:)

We actually got proper snow today.  Very Happy  For the first time since it all melted before Christmas. And we'll have minus degrees for the forseeable future, so it'll stick around this time.

(And then I might shut up about it, imagine how great that would be.  Laughing )

Santa only brings you presents if you've been good. They both judge you, but at least God has guidelines to what is good and bad.

Like the snowy picture Blue, I can smell the crisp freshness of it. And who can resist a reindeer ?? they are gorgeous.

Well yes, if you dont mind being guided by a psychotic nut job homophobic women hater with a bad habit of regularly throwing a hissy fit and trying to wipe everyone out, then yes, there are guidelines.

Santa used to bring along helpers to beat up the naughty children. Quite the charming man.

Have you seen the movie Rare Exports, btw? There's your real Santa.

Originating among German Lutherans, the Easter Hare originally played the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behaviour at the start of the season of Eastertide.

affraid

Some chocolate sounds nice though.  Nod

Don't think of it as actual "daylight" Halfy. Think of it more as an inferior grade of darkness.  Wink
