something niggled me as I read LOTRs over time, the name "Cair Andros". I felt as though I heard of the word "Cair" before ? And I had, its in the Narnia books... Cair Paravel, made me think, did C S Lewis and Tolkien discuss names and who should have them ? We know they were good friends. Just a thought.

Lewis explicitly borrowed "Numinor" (his spelling) for Out of the Silent Planet, and referred readers to Tolkien for further information.
