The 2012 Annual Forumshire Awards - Page 2 Empty Mrs Figgs Predicts

Post by Mrs Figg Tue Apr 24, 2012 2:17 pm

I would like to put forward a few early prediction for the forthcoming Annual Forumshire Awards ceremony at the end of the year, I will strive to predict a few of my front runners, cos honestly its a long time to wait.

Award for services to self promotion - Orwell

Mrs Figg and Kafria tried to tempt Orwell with their lady bling, but he had stuff on his mind.

Well the last one got a bit complex- Wisey went a bit mad and lost his trousers (or was that Odo?) and confusion ruled as everyone turned up in fancy dress disguised as each other. The elvish band overcharged. Queen Tinuviel was introduced to buckie (and Beren had Huan chase me up a tree for it). In other words it was a farcical mess full of nonsense- so the usual great Forumshire fun! Very Happy

I think Mrs Figg organising this years might be right up your street. What you neeed first is to decide on a date for the picnic opening and a theme is always fun.
After that Forumshire inventivness tends to run rampant. Very Happy

Well it was fancy dress last time- which was fun -but could do that but with a theme to the fancy dress this time.
My only suggestions based on expereience are- you will never have enough buckie and read the small print in the bands contract. Nod

(You don't ned to photoshop- the palantirazzi will be there for Pure Publications to capture the magic moments and spash them all over the gossip pages next day).

My vote is late May or June. Come July and most of August you won't be seeing much of me here.

Every picnic needs a sack race, 3 legged race, potato in a spoon race, etc. With pictures of course. And speeches. Lots of speeches on various themes pertaining to Forumshire.

Twelve year olds, no. Fourteen year olds, definitely. it's a tender, transitional age.

But once they are definitely old enough to get'em, no holds barred, I say.

And as for the other ages, 40 was less painful than expected, but that frozen pizza hasn't improved in taste any. I have taken on a tendency to wear something other than white socks with short pants, and if I don't keep close tabs on them the insides of my ears keep getting fuzzier and fuzzier.
