I realize that it all comes down to personal opinion, but in my opinion, Armitage as Thorin looks nothing like a dwarf. That's all I was saying.
Re: The 2011 Annual Forumshire Awards
Can anyone remember when Tin said she was away till? I was going to announce the results on New Yars Day but would be a shame if she missed the chance to vote as I think she missed out on last years too.

I would go for histrionics if I was you lose, Mrs Figg. Otherwise it will be just another dull Awards Show.

Re: The 2011 Annual Forumshire Awards
Do you remember last year's Awards show, Orwell? Petty got attacked by PJ's thugs and was presenting the awards wearing a cast, Odo had a meltdown after Ringdrotten won Most Respected, and Tin nearly called down the Wrath of the Valar upon us all when she didn't win Best Nose! I'm not saying that it can't be even wilder and crazier this year, but I didn't find it to be dull in the least.
Re: The 2011 Annual Forumshire Awards
As far away from dull as it gets, I'd say

Just voted, I finished it pretty quickly now, because I know I won't have the motivation to turn on my laptop just to vote. Also, who the hell is Roac? Can't remember him in the book!
Hope everyone has a good NYE or NYD, wherever you are on the map!

Re: The 2011 Annual Forumshire Awards
Those palantir shots look quite dashing, if I may say so myself, especially the one on the far left. Nice hat. Also, I love the Pure Publications/Buckie sponsor wall in the background; that's a great touch.
Will the Movie Awards and the Forum Awards be announced at the same time or will they be staggered like last year? Fingers crossed for the same time; this will likely be a highlight of my New Year's celebrations since the family doesn't really do much for NYE.

Re: The 2011 Annual Forumshire Awards
(Bear in my mind I only deliver these things- dont shoot the messenger!!-besides I'm off to my barrel- if I can remember the way, a hedge or bush or pig sty may have to suffice- I find myself in need of some sleep and the means to stop the world wobbling about! Wonder if there's anywhere I can get a battered deep fried snack as I meander home, I need grease, perhaps I will happen to meander past a battered deep fried snack emporium! You know, I am sure there is something important I'm supposed to be doing today )
