Nice to see you here too, Tin Smile I hope all the others will come round eventually too (I'll use the more safe "all the others" rather than call them by their names, would be a tad awkward to leave someone out Embarassed )

Can't believe that turned up and this one didnt!!! I set that up right after our old forum went down, mainly as a test to see if it was possible to get our old stuff back on a forum- but as young Eldo actually knows what he's doing, where as I was just mucking about, I left it to him to sort a new forum out- how do you get rid of it once youve set one up? I havent a clue.
But if you found it on google surely this one must turn up somewhere.

Don't want to confuse matters for people looking for us- anyone know how I get rid of it?

Very Happy

Good news, Kafria, page 2! Give it a few more weeks and a couple more "News of the Pure" editions and we'll be topping page 1 Very Happy

Edit: Bit of a shame to delete it all, looks like you spent quite a lot of time copying posts over to that forum. That's a lot of (very much appreciated) work gone to waste. But like you say, might confuse possible newcomers.

If it's already on google, might as well just redirect the domain name here, what harm could it do?

Code:
<meta http-equiv=REFRESH content=0;url=http://hobbitmovie.forummotion.com>

Add it to the site description, and it's lovely traffic will come to us!

I've remembered the password I used for the other site so I can do whatever I need to do with it now- once I know how do it!

"Bit of a shame to delete it all, looks like you spent quite a lot of time copying posts over to that forum. That's a lot of (very much appreciated) work gone to waste"- Ringdrotten

It just killed a few hours when I was trying to force myself to stay awake to get my sleeping pattern round for nightshift- so no worries about losing it- having a forum for us is what counts (and Eldo did a better job). And there's nothing on it that's not now been put up on here.

ps anyone been on PT recently? Has the awards ceremony thread turned up- would be nice to have it for continuity for next years!

That one was great, would be a real shame to lose it. Didn't find it on PT, though. What section was it in, Ideas & Suggestions?

I don't really post on PT anymore but as far as I can tell nothing more has been brought over. And Taz still has yet to respond to my question about the lost post from two weeks ago.

EDIT: Or, what Ringdrotten said. Mad

Login to the admin panel, click on the general tab, then forum, then configuration, then finally site description, where you can add that code, then just save it!

Just a side thought, but if Taz is unwilling to give up the data, maybe it could be acquired off ady- though that's assuming he made regular backups, I think the problem with Taz is though that he doesn't really want to put up completely irrelevant posts, for us to take, and then for him to delete again!

Does anyone know how to get in touch with ady? I don't know if the old ady@the-hobbit-movie.com e-mail is active since the site was sold, and that's the only way I ever knew to get in touch with him. No

Finally got round to putting that code into the other forum so any traffic should come here.

Had a look on PJ's facebook page for TH. Seems a few sites have posted links there to their sites- any you young facebook types got access? Might be good to advertise ourselves there.

I would, but I deleted my main facebook account, it's quietly addictive you know! I'll try to do it on my other account, if I can remember the password. I last checked it during the Hobbit Forum Crisis of Feb 11, to check the hobbit movie page!
