I like it too but I think we need something Googleable otherwise nobody will find us.

Google searches on several things: the actual site name, the search tags provided with the site, and the content. It's preferable for both to work, but let's be honest, is "hobbitmovieforum" something that will actually be searched for? I think we're being found by our search tags and content.
Right now the part that is being searched (the "meta Description") is "Free spirits' discussion of The Hobbit, Tolkien, and life." Which is accurate and serves us well. We could change it to "Free spirits' discussion of Tolkien, Hobbits, Middle Earth, and life."
