They had the Frog and Parrot on Monty Python Live. A bit of a homage.

There are certainly similarities.
The Duck and Muck, or the Muck and Duck depending which day and month it is, is an Australian themed pub in Needlehole, which already goes quite a long way to explaining matters.
I imagine frogs are easier to eat than duckie is to drink though- its all in the squeezing you see, squeeze a duckie wrong and you soon know all about it. Squeeze it right and you will soon forget all about it.
